Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 13. I will then key in on verse 3 - (NLT) Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything. Wow, is this verse powerful? Proverb 18:21 tells us that Death and Life are in the power of the tongue. Friends, our words can either build people and bring forth life; or they can be detrimental and bring forth death. Therefore, we always need to be mindful of the words that we speak. Today, I give an example of how we can study the Bible by focusing on a particular topic. Our topic today will be love. I will pick our seven scripture verses that have the word "love" in them. Five of the verses will be what we are to do, and two verses will be what not to do. The verses are:
John 3:16; 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13, verses 1-13; Matthew 22:36-40; John 15:12-13; 2 Timothy 1:7; John 2:15-17; and 1 Timothy 6:10
