179. Exodus - Chapter #4 (2) - God Calls Moses to go to Egypt - December 8, 2022

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 8. I will then key in on verse 13 - The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, And the perverse mouth I hate. Several things I would like to say about this verse. First, if God hates something, so should we. God says that we are to hate evil. God doesn't like pride, and He doesn't like arrogance. Three things I will share from Chapter 4 are:
1. God calls Moses to go to Egypt. God sees the affliction of His people Israel and wants to put it to an end. But in order for that to happen, a number of things have to happen.
2. God will harden Pharaoh's heart. Because of this, God is going to have to show Pharaoh the power that He has and Pharaoh is going to have to learn (the hard way) of who he is dealing with.
3. Moses shares with Aaron God's instructions. Aaron doesn't yet know that God has made him the person who will be speaking directly to Pharaoh.
