1. Moses doubted his ability to lead his people. Moses didn't feel worthy of leading the Israelite people. I believe that many people today do not feel worthy either. I will look at two passages of scripture (Ephesians 4: verses 11 & 12 & 2 Corinthians 3: verses 5 & 6) and see that God has made each of us able ministers and live worthily of the calling God has placed on our lives.
2. God made Moses leprous. In order to truly get Moses' attention and show Moses the power that God truly had He made him become leprous. I can only imagine the thoughts that ran through his mind when this happened. But, just as quickly as this happened, he was made clean again.
3. Moses once again asks God to use someone (anyone) else. God ends up relenting and will use Aaron (Moses' brother) as his mouthpiece.
