Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 2. I will then key in on verse 6: For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Today I am going to demonstrate how you find out what your giftings are. I am going to give my testimony of how I became a teacher. James 3: verse 1 tells us that teachers are going to be held to a stricter judgement - but I didn't mind the discipline it would take to be a teacher. I am then going to give my testimony of how I became an encourager of people. a. my mom asking me why I couldn't be more like my brother? and b. I never had a student while teaching Special Education that had good self-esteem. I will share two scriptures which go with this (Ephesians 4:29 & Proverb 25:11). I then will give my testimony of why I am a soul-winner. I go over my story of when I gave my heart to Jesus and asked Him to come into my heart. I think about the Great Commission and how we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel. I will then give two scriptures (Proverb 11:30 & 2 Perter 3:9). I will then ask that anyone who is not happy with their current job to continue it with this attitude - to do everything as unto the Lord. Think back to your childhood, think about your former dreams, or about what makes you happy; what you are passionate about, etc. I will then go over two verses to encourage (Psalm 37:4 & James 4:3).
