Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be reading Proverb 2. I will then key in on verses 1-6 (although every verse in this chapter speaks of the importance of having wisdom to conduct your everyday lives). I will then invite anyone who didn't listen to yesterday's (September 1) podcast to listen to that prior to listening to this podcast. I will then reread 1 Kings Chapter 3: verses 6-14 in its entirety. This passage of scripture talks about when King Solomon of Israel had just been crowned king.God spoke to him in a dream and asked Solomon what He could do for him. Solomon asked God for wisdom, and God was well pleased with Solomon for this request.
