106. Jesus (and Peter) Walk on the Water

welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 26. I will then key in on verse 17: He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Whether you have a dog, or not, may I suggest you don't tug him on his ears. I'm not sure how he'll react - but you might get bitten. Instead, we are to be peacemakers (see Matthew 5:9). We will be going over the account of Jesus walking on the water. This story is found in three of the gospels: Matthew 14: verses 22-33; Mark 6:45-52; and John 6:15-21. This is a wonderful example of something that I have been trying to emphasize on my podcasts (if you have a favorite passage of scripture I recommend that you cross-reference that story and see if it is located in other gospels. If it is, there is a good chance that some of the questions that you have may be answered. I seriously ask that you consider looking at each of the gospels and reading the different accounts.
