105. We are Not to Judge

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 25. We will then key in on verse 8: Do not go hastily to court; For what will you do in the end, When your neighbor has put you to shame. I will go over how easily in today's world people take former business partners, former best friends, etc). This verse is telling us to be "slow" to bring people to court. I will then go over two accounts of "Do Not Judge" - found in the gospel of Matthew: 7: verses 1-5 and Luke's gospel: Chapter 6: verses 37-42. I will read Matthew's account of this in its entirety. But, then I will in on verses 37 & 38 of Luke's account of this story - because I believe what he adds is very important. We will then go back to Proverb 25 and look again at verse 8. I will then bring up Galatians, Chapter 6: verse 7 which tells us that we will reap what we sow. I will then close with the Golden Rule - simply, to treat people the way that we would like to be treated.
