987. Romans Chapter 15 Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you - April 3, 2026

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then key in on verse 28 - Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it" - when you have it with you. Friends, I often hear people say to someone - I'll pray about that for you - and then they forget to do it. Instead say, "Let's pray for that right now!" This verse is saying the same thing - if you can help someone now, do it! On today's podcast we will be continuing our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be beginning Chapter 15 (verses 1-7). By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failures of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Jesus Christ.

3. Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:

Proverb 3:28; Romans 15:1-7; Galatians 6:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:14; 1 Corinthians 10:33; Philippians 2:4; Philippians 2:8

Call to action - For just a short moment think about Jesus - on that Roman cross looking at those who responsible for his hanging on the cross and praying that God would forgive them (for they knew not what they were doing).
