974. Romans Chapter 9 (#3) Has the Potter no right over the clay? March 12, 2026

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 11 - Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense. Friends, we need to work in life (preferably doing the will of God - and the assignments that He has given us). Furthermore, we are to be stewards of all the things that He has placed in our hands. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be going over Chapter 9, verses 16-26. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Salvation, then, depends entirely on God's merciful will.

2. Has the potter no right over the clay?

3. In His grace and mercy God has called both the Jews and the Gentiles to Himself.

Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:

Proverb 12:11; Romans 9:16-26; Daniel 4:35; Job 33:13; Isaiah 29:16; Isaiah 64:8; 1 Peter 2:10

Call to Action - Friends, God is the potter, and we are the clay. Are we going to allow ourselves to become the beautiful vessel that He would like for us to be? It's solely up to us to answer that question.
