Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 11. I will then key in on verse 2 - When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. Friends, God hates pride - which is man believing that he doesn't have need of a Savior - but wants to do things his way. He doesn't feel he needs help from anyone (including God). However, if we humble ourselves (meaning we recognize our need for Jesus) - then wisdom will come our way. On today's podcast we will pick up where we left off on Monday's podcast. Today we will be going over Romans, Chapter 9, verses 8-15. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. About this time next year I will return and Sarah shall have a son.
2. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy.
3. I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 11:2; Romans 9:8-15; Galatians 4:23; Galatians 4:28; Genesis 18:10-15; Malachi 1:2-3; Exodus 33:19
Call to Action - Ask yourself this question - how important is it to you that you follow the commandments given to us in the Bible?
