Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 23. I will then key in on verse 12 - Apply your heart to instruction and your ear to words of knowledge. Friends, God wants us to have wisdom (See James 1:5). However to acquire wisdom it will take effort on our part. It will not come automatically. On today's podcast I will continue where we left off on last Friday's podcast (Episode #963 - if you did not get a chance to check it out I invite you to do so). By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Pain during the bearing of children was Eve's punishment for disobedience.
2. Adam's punishment was the hardship and frustration that will accompany his labor.
3. Because of their disobedience Adam & Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden.
Call to Action - How aware are you of the Holy Spirit (dwelling on the inside of each and everyone of us). Do you ever get checks in your spirit (whenever you are thinking of doing something that you would know would not please God).
