Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 8 - A man is commended according to his good sense, but one of twisted mind is despised. Friends, if we speak with wisdom or act with wisdom people will look favorably upon us. They will eagerly listen to what we have to say and admire the things that you do. Conversely, if you act like a fool, the opposite reaction will come your way. On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be completing Chapter 6 (verses 15-23). By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. As Christians, we have the choice to continue sinning - or to become righteous.
2. Because of what Jesus did on the cross we are no longer slaves to sin.
3. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 12:8; Romans 6:15-23; Matthew 6:24; John 8:31-32; 1 Corinthians 9:27
Call to Action - Ask yourself where you are at in this process? Are you mindful to contemplate what words you will speak (prior to opening your mouth)? Are you mindful that people watch everything you do (and thus act righteously - do the right thing?
