Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 21. I will then key in on verse 13 - Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. Friends, Jesus cared about the widows and the elderly people. We should do the same. On today's podcast I will continue our study of the Book of Romans. Today we will be going over Chapter 4, verses 13-17. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Where there is no law, there is no transgression.
2. Human beings cannot keep the law, and they therefore face God's wrath.
3. Faith therefore corresponds exactly to grace, which involves trusting God's gift of unmerited favor.
Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:
Proverb 21:13; Romans 4:13-17; Galatians 3:16; Hebrews 11:10-16
Call to Action - Have you ever viewed yourself as a "visitor" to earth, and not a permanent resident? The Bible tells us that we are "in" this world, but not "of" this world. We are actually residents of heaven.
