825. How to Become a Mature Christian (#12) - Using Biblical Wisdom in Daily life - June 20, 2025

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 20. I will then key in on verse 7 - The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him. Friends, on today's podcast we will learn what both Jesus and the Apostle Paul instructs us to do - to do good to people (whether they do evil to us - or whether they do evil to us). I will begin the podcast by reviewing the previous segment of this study - How to Become a Mature Christian - Segment 11 (This was podcast #820, dated June 6th). I will then begin today's lesson - Biblical Wisdom in Daily Life. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:

1. Becoming a mature Christian means transforming (or renewing) our minds to coincide with God's desires for us.

2. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

3. Pray for and bless those that mistreat you.

Scriptures referenced on today's podcast:

Proverb 20:7; Romans 12:1-2; Proverb 2:6; Matthew 5:43-48; Romans 12:17-21; Proverb 17:13

Call to Action - When people hurt you is some way, shape, or form, do you respond back with evil (as the world would tell you to react) - or do you respond by doing good (as the Lord Jesus or the Apostle Paul tells you to do)?
