Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be over Proverb 29. I will then go over two verses - verse 11 - A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man hold them back; and verse 20 - Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Friends, we cannot just spout out every word that comes to our minds. We need to be mindful of the consequences that might happen if we do that. On today's podcast we will preview the theme of the letter that Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Salvation is by faith alone, and not through works or human striving.
2. All believers are united in Christ because the church is the one body of Christ.
3. Each person has to display Christ's love, patience, humility, and gentleness as they use their gift to build up the church.
Call to Action - Ask yourself how careful you are to ponder your words prior to opening your mouth (friends, our words can have consequences - especially is we speak foolishly).
