Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 15. I will then give a few comments on verse 1. We will then pick up in Genesis Chapter 37 from our story from Monday. We will begin on verse 12 and go through verse 28. This is the story of Joseph being sold to Ishmaelite traders for twenty pieces of silver. The three points about this story that I want to discuss is:
1. The brothers conspired to kill Joseph
2. Let cooler heads prevail/shed no blood
3. They chose an alternative course of action
Rather than kill Joseph, they chose to sell him, then put his coat of many colors in a pool of blood and convince the father that Joseph has been attacked and brutally killed by a wild animal.
