Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 7. I will then key in on verses 22 & 23 -Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks. Till an arrow struck his liver. As a bird hastens to the snare, He did not know it would cost his life. Friends, when it comes to this particular temptation, it is always best that you follow the example of Joseph in the Book of Genesis (and simply to run away!) On today's podcast we will continue our study of the Book of Job. We will be looking at Chapter #40. By the end of this lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:
1. Job has been accusing God.
2. Job shows respect for God.
3. God challenges Job.
Call to Action - Ask yourself if you ever do what Job did - challenge God? Think about it. Considering that you are mere man, and He is God.
Suggest Scripture reading - Reread the proverb of the day, Proverb 7 in its entirety; reread the chapter of the day, Job, Chapter #40 in its entirety.
