Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 27. I will then key in on verse 21 - The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold And a man is valued by what others say of him. Today I will be going over Chapter #17 of John's gospel. The first 5 verses is Jesus's prayer to God for Himself. I will read these verses and then read the commentary in my Bible referring to these verses (the Nelson Study Bible). I will then read verses 6 through 19. These verses is the prayer of Jesus for His disciples. I will go over the commentary pertaining to these verses as well. I will then return to our verse of the day, verse 21. I will go over the fact that we need to be purified once we make the decision to receive Jesus.
