Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 14. I will then key in on verse 1 - The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands. Today we will continue with our study on the Book of Job. Today we will be looking at Chapter #23. After completing this chapter today, I would ask that you consider three points:
1. Our words are so vitally important - in today's verse of Proverb 14, we said that the wise woman builds her house. She does this by the actions and the way that she runs the household, and also, by the words that come out of her mouth. Our words should be words of encouragement. Job is complaining in this chapter. No one likes to listen to people who gripe and complain.
2. We should follow God's commandments - In this chapter Job is fully confident, when all is said and done, that God will come to the realization that Job lived a good life, and that He will be complimentary of him and not accusatory.
3. We should put our trust in God. Job put his trust in God. Even though things have not gone the way that he believed they would go, or how he wanted them to go, Job still trusted in God.
Call to Action - Ask yourself this question: "Do I realize how important my words really are?"
