Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 8. I will then key in on verses 12 & 13 - I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. Friends, these two verses remind me of the man Job. We began a study on this Book of the Bible two weeks ago. Today we will be looking at Chapter 10. After reading the entire chapter, I will bring up three points that I'd like for you to consider:
1. Job pleads with God
2. Job rationalizes with God
3. You are a child of God
Call to Action - Simple question - do you fear the Lord? When I ask that, I don't mean that you are afraid of God. I ask if you have a reverential "awe" of God - of who He is, what He has created, all that He has blessed you with?
Suggested scripture reading:
