Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be looking at Proverb 15. I will then key in on verse #1 - A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. Friends, it's not the words that come out of our mouth, but the tone of our voice and the body language we use that has the biggest impression on people. Please be mindful of that. Use a soft tone of voice, and people will be drawn to you. Today we will be beginning our study on humble people of the Bible. (You may want to listen to Monday's podcast for an introduction to this unit). Today I will introduce you to the first person who was humble in the Bible - a man named Noah. Had it not been for Noah, we would not be here today. God sent a flood that totally covered the Earth, and the flood killed all humans and all creatures of the Earth. Only Noah, his wife, and his three sons, and their wives made it out alive. So we owe our very lives to eight people! I will read from the 6th chapter of Genesis, verses 9-22 & then Chapter 8, verses 18-22 and give a bit of commentary. CALL to ACTION/Suggested scripture reading - Reread Chapters #6-8 of Genesis.
