Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then key in on verses 6 & 11: Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked; The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Did you notice that both verses end with the same result for the wicked? Let's look at the top parts of these two verses. Blessings are on the head of the righteous & The mouth of the righteous is a well of life. I receive both of those, in Jesus' name! Friends, continue to do good, and make right decisions, and your life will be blessed. Today I will be going over the 3rd chapter of Paul's letter to the church in Phillippi (Philippians). I will go over three points I would like for everyone to ponder: 1. Nothing we can do compares to what Christ has done for us (I will read the first 11 verses of Chapter 3); 2. Do not live life looking in your rearview mirror (don't dwell on the pass but press on for what lies ahead. We can't change anything that we've done in the past, but we can change our future if we purpose in our hearts to do so (I will read verses 12-19). 3. We are in this world, but we are not of this world (I will read verses 20 & 21). the Bible tells us that, once we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior that we become citizens of Heaven. We live on the Earth, but we are not to live life like those who are in the World. CALL to ACTION - Meditate and ponder what you have heard today over the weekend. See what changes you might have to take to begin living the life that God has called you to. Suggested scripture reading - Reread the 3rd Chapter of the Book of Philippians in its entirety.
