Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 19. I will then key in on verse 3 - People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the Lord. Many people are guilty of doing this today. Many people do stupid things, or are careless with their words, and then, when they lose their job, or a relationship comes to an end (because of their foolishness) they are quick to blame someone (anyone - and many times God) for their mistakes. Friends, let's become responsible and accept blame if we make mistakes in life. Many times when things happen in life that are solely because of mistakes we have made, let's own up to it! Today I will compare the Ten Commandments given to Moses (by God - on tablets of stone) and compare them with the actual words of Jesus that pertains to that commandment. Very interesting, indeed. CALL to ACTION - living with an "attitude of gratitude". Let's be thankful for all of the things that God has given us. Let's become more aware of the things we have, but let's put the majority of our time appreciating the people that God has placed in our lives! Suggested scripture reading: 1. Reread the 20th Chapter of the Book of Exodus; 2. Read psalm 1; 3. Reread today's proverb, Proverb 19 in its entirety.
