Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 12. I will then key in on verse 26 - The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. This verse goes hand in hand with Psalm 1 (which I will read in its entirety). Friends, we are to choose our friends (and the people that we seek advise from) carefully. It can truly make the difference in how our life will go. the Bible tells us we will become like the people that we hang out with. It is VERY important that we be truly selective in our choice of friends. I will then continue our study of the book of Exodus. Today we will briefly go over both chapters 5 & chapter 6. (I highly encourage everyone to read both of these chapters in their entirety (and and comments at the bottom of their Bibles - if they have Bibles that have commentaries). I will read verses 1 & 2 of chapter 5 and let the audience know that Pharaoh has not yet hardened his heart. I will let the audience know that Pharaoh considered himself to be like a god - and that he had never met or had any encounters with the living God (the God of Israel). In Chapter 6 I will read verses 1-5 when God reaffirms His covenant with His people and that He will free them from Egyptian bondage.
