Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 5. I will then key in on verse 19: As a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times; And always be enraptured with her love. Friends, in proverbs 2, 5 & 7, it talks about the temptation that can come from people of the opposite sex. Whether you are a man or woman, you can face temptation. My suggestion is that you stay as far away from this type of temptation as you can. If you avoid situations where you can be tempted, it is much harder to fall into the lure of it. We will then go to Exodus, Chapter 3 and resume our study of the fabulous book. Three things that I would like for you to consider pertaining to this chapter are: 1. God needed to get Moses' attention. God has seen the oppression of the Israelite people and wanted them to be delivered from the hand of Pharaoh. He got Moses' attention by speaking through a fire in a bush (that would not be consumed by the fire). 2. God called Moses to be Israel's leader and the one chosen to deliver the Israelites and to bring them out of the land of Egypt. God instructed Moses to first go to the Israelites and introduce himself and then to go into the palace of Pharaoh and introduce himself to him. 3. God will favor His people Israel. From the foundation of the world God knew that the Israelites would be His chosen people. Once we surrender our lives to Jesus, and invite Him into our hearts we are now grafted into the family of God and we are now included in His chosen people.
