697. Sarah Mae Share her Personal Testimony - (#2 - March 14, 2023) - December 3, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over proverb 3. I will then introduce you to my special guest for the day - Sarah Mae. Sarah is a graduate from Charis Bible College, and recently spent a year ministering to Indians on an Indian reservation in the state of Wyoming. She was on previously on the March 14th, 2023 podcast. I would highly recommend that anyone listening today would go back and check out that podcast as well. In addition, Sarah has graciously accepted the invitation to become a regular contributor to this podcast. That means that she will be on every five to six months - so please look for her name (you won't want to miss anything she has to say)! On today's podcast she will share the verse that spoke to her today from Proverb 3. She will then share what God has been speaking to her lately. She will talk about her call to go into jails and minister to this "forgotten" population. Many people tend to forget these people even exist, but Sarah has a passion for these people and regular makes a point to minister to these people. Finally, she will take us back to her time that she spent on the Indian reservation. She talks about her two sons adapted to this new way of life. She also talks about the reality of the lives this population (native Americans) live. There is much alcohol and drugs and it is not uncommon to have a death from either of these every week.

[00:00:06] Welcome to Wisdom Today. My name is Bill Kelley and I'll be your host. In this podcast we will be exploring the book of Proverbs.

[00:00:21] Open in prayer. Father God, I thank you for anyone listening to this podcast today. Lord, I pray that you give everyone ears to hear and a heart to receive everything you have in store for them today. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

[00:00:37] This is Proverb 3 beginning in verse 1.

[00:00:41] My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands. For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.

[00:00:54] Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.

[00:01:02] And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

[00:01:14] In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

[00:01:26] It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.

[00:01:30] Honor the Lord with your possessions and with the first fruits of all your increase.

[00:01:37] So your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.

[00:01:43] My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction. For whom the Lord loves, He corrects.

[00:01:54] Just as a father, the son in whom He delights, happy is the man who finds wisdom and the man who gains understanding.

[00:02:04] For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver and her gain than fine gold.

[00:02:11] She is more precious than rubies and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.

[00:02:19] Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor.

[00:02:25] Her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace.

[00:02:31] She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her and happy are all who retain her.

[00:02:38] The Lord by wisdom founded the earth. By understanding He established the heavens.

[00:02:45] By His knowledge the depths were broken up and clouds dropped down the dew.

[00:02:52] My son, let them not depart from your eyes.

[00:02:57] Keep sound wisdom and discretion, so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck.

[00:03:05] Then you will walk safely in your way and your foot will not stumble.

[00:03:10] When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.

[00:03:18] Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes.

[00:03:25] For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.

[00:03:32] Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due when it is in the power of your hand to do so.

[00:03:39] Do not say to your neighbor, go and come back and tomorrow I will give it when you have it with you.

[00:03:48] Do not devise evil against your neighbor, for he dwells by you for safety's sake.

[00:03:55] Do not strive with a man without cause if he has done you no harm.

[00:04:01] Do not envy the oppressed and choose none of his ways.

[00:04:06] For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, but his secret counsel is with the upright.

[00:04:14] The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the just.

[00:04:22] Surely he scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble.

[00:04:28] The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools.

[00:04:35] All right, I have a treat for you today.

[00:04:38] I have Sarah May and Sarah has been on this program before, although it was quite a while ago.

[00:04:46] It was way back in March of 2023.

[00:04:50] So Sarah, I'd like to welcome you back on.

[00:04:52] We just went over Proverb three and what Proverb three is one of my favorite Proverbs.

[00:04:58] And there's so many verses we could share, but which one spoke with you today that you'd like to share with the audience?

[00:05:06] Yeah. Hi, Bill.

[00:05:08] So I chose the verses 19 and 20 of Proverbs three.

[00:05:15] Do you want me to read them?

[00:05:17] Yes. Yeah. Go ahead and read them and tell us why you like that.

[00:05:21] Awesome. So the Lord by wisdom founded the earth.

[00:05:25] By understanding, he established the heavens.

[00:05:28] By his knowledge, the deeps broke open and the clouds dropped down the dew.

[00:05:35] And I chose these two verses because they are telling us that God used his wisdom, his understanding and his knowledge to create the world.

[00:05:49] And when we look at these verses from Proverbs in the light of the New Testament, we can see that all these qualities point to Jesus.

[00:06:01] Because they certainly do. Go on.

[00:06:04] Yes. Because through him, everything was created.

[00:06:07] And for him, the universe was created.

[00:06:11] So we know that Jesus himself is the wisdom, understanding and knowledge.

[00:06:16] And because and those verses spoke to me because we have the mind of Christ.

[00:06:21] That means those verses speak directly to us.

[00:06:25] Well, we have good.

[00:06:27] And when you talk about wisdom, that really is God telling us in those verses that God wants us to have wisdom as well.

[00:06:38] Amen.

[00:06:39] And I think that's really, really important.

[00:06:42] You know, and Sarah, that's really the reason why the Holy Spirit told me to begin this podcast way back two and a half years ago.

[00:06:50] And I just went over.

[00:06:52] Yeah.

[00:06:53] I'm actually almost finishing up my third year now.

[00:06:56] So things have been going well and they just keep continuing to progress.

[00:07:01] But Sarah, I listened to your previous podcast this morning and it just kind of overwhelmed me with how powerful you really are.

[00:07:09] And we left off with the thought that you were getting ready to go on your mission trip.

[00:07:15] And I know that we have a lot to talk about because not only did you go to Wyoming on your mission trip, but you ended up staying there an additional year.

[00:07:27] So I don't want to go there yet.

[00:07:29] What I want to do is ask you right now, what has the Lord been talking to you about, about the last three or four weeks or five weeks that you'd like to share with the audience?

[00:07:44] That's a good question.

[00:07:46] I mean, right now we are not living anymore in Wyoming.

[00:07:51] So this is interesting to know.

[00:07:55] We, in July, like the, or the past months, we, since the past months, we lived in, we moved to Texas and live now in Dallas.

[00:08:08] And during the times, like leaving Wyoming behind and starting again in a new environment, in a new community and church, what, where I am right now is a process where I already started in Wyoming.

[00:08:29] And right now for me, I am writing a book about prophecy and prophetic interpretations.

[00:08:39] Wow.

[00:08:40] And this is what, what God is working on me right now, personally.

[00:08:44] Okay.

[00:08:45] Now let me ask you this.

[00:08:46] I know that you have been involved in prison ministry.

[00:08:50] Have you found an avenue for the youth to do that in Texas as well?

[00:08:56] Yes.

[00:08:57] So, um, this is a process where I always had to start in Colorado, the same as in Wyoming and now again in Dallas.

[00:09:06] Um, always, again, you have to go through the process if you want to do Bible studies in a jail or prison, what, what I love to do, um, to go through the whole security process of the prison.

[00:09:19] So right now I'm still in the process of being accepted again.

[00:09:23] Okay.

[00:09:24] Great.

[00:09:24] Now, yeah, I was just going to say, Sarah, some people listening today may have that call on their life as well.

[00:09:34] So if you would verbalize that process.

[00:09:37] And if you were or had an interest in going to jails or prisons, what would you have to do?

[00:09:45] Yeah, that's a good question.

[00:09:47] Yeah, that's a good question.

[00:09:47] And for everyone who wants to do this, has this on their heart.

[00:09:50] Um, the easiest way to start is, um, what I would say like with a ministry, which is already established in doing prison ministry in that place where you live.

[00:10:02] Um, or if you want to do this alone, you have to find the chaplain who is responsible for religious, um, studies or whatever they offer inside the prison.

[00:10:14] And there's always a chaplain in every jail and prison, as far as I know.

[00:10:19] Um, and you have to get in contact with that person and go through the whole application process of being a volunteer in the chaplain, um, groups.

[00:10:30] So this is how I do that.

[00:10:32] I Google online, always check who's the chaplain.

[00:10:36] And most of the times, um, on the prisons or jails or, um, the departments who are responsible, they always have someone in charge for this with a telephone number.

[00:10:48] That's the easiest way.

[00:10:49] Just call the people and ask how the process works.

[00:10:53] Wow.

[00:10:54] That's really good.

[00:10:54] And, and Sarah, one of the reasons I want to have you on, on a regular basis is because you offer a couple things that no one else that I have on offers.

[00:11:06] And one of them is prison ministry.

[00:11:09] And I happened to, uh, when I was in a previous, uh, 11 week school of ministry, this was years and years ago, back in Florida.

[00:11:19] Uh, this was many years before I went to Karis.

[00:11:21] I had an opportunity to go to the prison in Florida.

[00:11:26] Mm-hmm .

[00:11:27] Got to speak in front of 300 inmates.

[00:11:30] Awesome.

[00:11:30] And, uh, I talked about Samuel chapter 17 and talked about David and how he had overcome the giant Goliath and, and everybody was on their, uh, on their feet cheering.

[00:11:40] And, and it was one of the most awesome experiences of my life.

[00:11:43] But if you would tell the audience, you know, your call to that and, and how did that happen that you felt called to that particular ministry and tell the audience why?

[00:11:58] Yes.

[00:11:59] Um, so back in Germany and I'm from Germany and, um, I came to the U S with my family almost three years ago now.

[00:12:08] Um, but back in Germany, I started doing prison ministry, um, with an association with the name Set Free.

[00:12:17] And I was just starting to go into the prisons and talk to, especially people from Muslim countries who became, came as refugees to Germany, became criminal.

[00:12:33] Um, and then had to go into a period of imprisonment.

[00:12:39] And I just went there and listened to them and nobody else did.

[00:12:44] Nobody wanted to do, have to do something with them.

[00:12:47] And I realized like, this is something where if you, if you go to people who are really, um, the least of every, every one of society, and you just listen to them and their situation in life.

[00:13:04] Even those people, God has so much love for.

[00:13:08] And I realized this so often that God spoke to me when I, when I started working with these people, just mentoring and doing, um, works of how to, if they get out, um, to re social, uh, socialize and how to get a job.

[00:13:26] If they get out at one point and how to cope with life.

[00:13:30] That God really spoke to me that he sees no difference in me or them, but he wants everyone to find him and to find life in him and purpose, purpose of life.

[00:13:42] And that really spoke to me.

[00:13:44] And I felt like this is something I can learn so much about for me personally, not even, not only the aspect of serving people who are seen often by the society as people who don't deserve anything anymore.

[00:14:01] Um, but to really understand the heart and all of this, God has still so much to give.

[00:14:08] Wow.

[00:14:09] You know, there's, there's a number of things that I want to go over.

[00:14:12] First of all, that reminds me of what I used to teach.

[00:14:18] And I used to say, I teach the trifecta.

[00:14:21] I teach the three things that no one wants to teach.

[00:14:25] I teach special education.

[00:14:27] I teach middle school kids and I teach math.

[00:14:32] And those three teachers tend to avoid like the plague.

[00:14:36] But like you said, Sarah, and I think this is really interesting, not of interesting, but profound is the fact that God loves every single person.

[00:14:47] And a lot of times, Sarah, many people discard people.

[00:14:50] They go, well, you know, they're no longer, you know, in society.

[00:14:54] They're in jail, whatever.

[00:14:56] Let's just forget about them.

[00:14:58] They're not worthy of anything.

[00:15:00] And that is not how God thinks about those people, Sarah.

[00:15:04] They simply made a bad choice and they are suffering the consequences because of that choice.

[00:15:11] But I often think this, what would Jesus do?

[00:15:15] And I guarantee you that Jesus would go to the jails and talk to these people.

[00:15:21] Your thoughts on that?

[00:15:23] Exactly.

[00:15:24] Yes.

[00:15:26] Well, that's good.

[00:15:27] And I think, yes.

[00:15:28] Go on.

[00:15:28] I mean, so with this in mind, I knew that my heart was really in this because I learned so much also about myself.

[00:15:40] And when we arrived, my family and I arrived in Colorado for Karis Bible College, the first thing I personally wanted to do was to ask in the jail, the El Paso County jail in Colorado Springs, if there is an option for me to serve again.

[00:15:58] And then after a very long period of waiting, like over seven months, I had to wait.

[00:16:04] And they finally accepted me as a volunteer for the chaplain corps.

[00:16:09] And I could do Bible studies inside the prison with a women's group.

[00:16:13] And every time I went into the jail, something new happened where I had to reflect on that I really saw God speaking to me through these people inside the jail.

[00:16:30] And that's just awesome.

[00:16:32] And I believe that for me personally, this is this is something I don't want to miss anymore.

[00:16:42] You know, I am going to bring up the chapter, the verse in Acts chapter 20, 35.

[00:16:50] And that verse is such a key verse.

[00:16:54] Many people just don't aren't aware of it, but that it says it is more blessed to give than to receive.

[00:17:02] One of the most powerful concepts, I believe in the entire Bible, Sarah.

[00:17:07] But if you would, I want you to, in context, how are you more blessed by going into the prisons and working with this group of people than you getting out of it?

[00:17:21] How are you more blessed?

[00:17:24] Right.

[00:17:24] So if I mean, we as Christians, we are all ministers of Christ.

[00:17:29] We all have the same calling.

[00:17:32] Going out and sharing the gospel.

[00:17:34] And so if we go into jails, we bring Jesus into these dark places where people are hardly reached by anyone.

[00:17:45] And the system is not working towards those ways.

[00:17:50] They don't have the capacity of reaching out to people inside the prison.

[00:17:54] So we are responsible to bring Jesus into jails and prisons.

[00:17:58] If we do that and we see how people, if they listen to the, if they read the word with you, if they listen to the words of the Bible,

[00:18:09] if they hear the name of Jesus, if you sing with them, if you explain things to them,

[00:18:14] you see really how they light up, how they really understand that there is something better than what their previous lifestyle try to, yeah, try to give them.

[00:18:29] And they, this is something that, that is so blessed for that.

[00:18:36] That's the blessing for them.

[00:18:37] But at the same time, and I think like Jesus is always blessing us with why we give other people, we are blessed at the same time when we see how their life is changing.

[00:18:51] And this is wonderful.

[00:18:53] Yeah, I'm going to go back to teaching again.

[00:18:56] As you know, I was a teacher in the public schools for, you know, 15, 18 years.

[00:19:01] I always lose track because I would do other things sometimes between teaching jobs.

[00:19:06] But I, I never, I will never get over the joy or the satisfaction you receive when you see a kid and, and they understand something for the first time.

[00:19:19] And it's like a light bulb goes on in their head and you see the joy and the expression.

[00:19:25] Yes.

[00:19:26] And I would have to think that you experienced that in the jails as well.

[00:19:31] Yes.

[00:19:33] Yeah, it's, it's so wonderful to see when people understand.

[00:19:38] I mean, there's, there is this hurt and pain people went through who are obviously in jail, who went through a lot.

[00:19:47] But when they realize, when they come to this point where they realize there is someone who loves them and calls them my daughter or my son, something is just breaking open.

[00:20:01] It's so unbelievable.

[00:20:03] And often you are the first person, if you go in these places or to these places, who is telling them about God or the love of God and Jesus.

[00:20:14] They never experienced the Holy Spirit before.

[00:20:17] They, they have never heard about miracles or wonders.

[00:20:22] So this is something very unique.

[00:20:24] Wow.

[00:20:28] That's really good.

[00:20:29] So anyway, what I'd like to do is let's go back.

[00:20:33] And I know that sometime during our conversation, our time is going to run up.

[00:20:39] So I know that we'll go into this in the next session as well.

[00:20:44] But in our last podcast, we ended with the fact that you were getting ready to go on your mission trip.

[00:20:51] And if you would explain to the audience where you went on the mission trip and how you ended up not only going back to Colorado, but you ended up going back there for another year.

[00:21:07] Yes.

[00:21:08] Yeah.

[00:21:09] So I went during the second year at Terrace Bible College.

[00:21:12] I went to Wind River Reservation in Wyoming for the mission trip.

[00:21:19] And so only half a year later, my husband and I, during the months before our move, we prayed and really heard from God.

[00:21:29] This is, this is your direction.

[00:21:31] And we clearly heard like for around a year, stay there and just serve in the ministry.

[00:21:38] And so we went there and moved over and just became part of the ministry, Foundations for Nations in Riverton and the Wind River Reservation.

[00:21:52] So we moved to Riverton.

[00:21:57] And it has been a wonderful year serving and working in the ministry and just seeing what they are doing, where their heart is connected to the native people there.

[00:22:10] And it's been a, yeah, very awesome time.

[00:22:17] Okay.

[00:22:18] I'm going to ask you several questions.

[00:22:21] Now, first of all, you have two sons as well.

[00:22:25] And how old are they right now?

[00:22:28] And how did they accept the fact that you were going and working with Indians and they had to settle in and be around them as well?

[00:22:39] So how did that go?

[00:22:40] If you would talk to the audience.

[00:22:42] Yeah.

[00:22:43] So my husband and my sons are 15 and 11.

[00:22:49] And when we moved there, we explained everything, but they, they were prepared.

[00:22:55] Like when we moved from Germany to the U.S., we left everything behind already.

[00:23:01] So the move for us from Colorado to the Wind River Reservation wasn't that big anymore.

[00:23:08] And living with these people, our kids, they don't see any differences in people from different nations, nationalities.

[00:23:16] And we as a family, we are foreigners here in the U.S. anyway.

[00:23:21] And it's, it's been very amazing for me also as a mother to see how the boys don't make any differences or they, they were just fitting in.

[00:23:33] And the ministry offered kids ministry and youth ministry groups, and they were just part of this.

[00:23:39] And so we never had any issues or so with making it, you know, with differences.

[00:23:48] Um, my personal experience was that, um, and I had this conversation with a lot of native people who were more like, okay, you're, you're a foreigner.

[00:23:59] You're not even a U.S. citizen.

[00:24:02] Um, we accept you.

[00:24:05] So that was, uh, for me, very interesting to see because I had never had contact before to, uh, native people or tribal people.

[00:24:17] Okay.

[00:24:19] Now, um, there is a common conception that many native Americans are alcoholics and have real issues with alcohol.

[00:24:30] Is that an accurate statement?

[00:24:33] And if so, you know, how did you help in that situation?

[00:24:41] Um, yeah, for, for me, um, living there for only one year.

[00:24:48] Um, what I observed is that the reservation life, and I can only speak for the Wind River Reservation.

[00:24:57] And there are two tribes living there, the Northern Arapaho and the Eastern Shoshone tribes.

[00:25:03] And about 20,000 people in total.

[00:25:06] Um, that this is especially in the middle of Wyoming, a state where not a lot of people live, like maybe half a million people in total.

[00:25:17] But it's very isolated place.

[00:25:21] And you have to understand, like, the wide open landscapes and you have to drive for hours to get somewhere.

[00:25:27] And the reservation is almost in the middle of the state.

[00:25:32] And, um, people are not getting out there.

[00:25:36] And the thing is that, for me, I saw, like, there's a concentration of, um, unemployment.

[00:25:45] There are not many opportunities.

[00:25:47] And there are many liquor stores.

[00:25:52] And what I saw is that if you are surrounded by an environment that, where people are easily, um, bored or attracted to.

[00:26:05] Or they see people using or drinking.

[00:26:12] Um, they might fall into this trap of being also part of becoming part of this.

[00:26:19] And it is, um, a huge issue, alcoholism.

[00:26:24] Um, but I can only talk or speak for this reservation that, um, I met, I met several people who never drank alcohol in their lives.

[00:26:36] But I met too many people who did.

[00:26:39] And, um, my explanation for this was that it's a very harsh environment where people are somehow forced to live in because they don't want to live there.

[00:26:52] The, the culture they have left.

[00:26:56] And, um, I worked a lot with homeless people, homeless native people who were drinking and using and were drug addicts.

[00:27:09] And there are also Mexican cartels present.

[00:27:14] And you see a lot of issues in this area with fentanyl and, uh, drugs like fentanyl or meth.

[00:27:23] And that's an issue.

[00:27:25] Um, I can, I can only speak for this year when, when we live there almost every week someone died.

[00:27:33] On a overdose.

[00:27:35] From drugs?

[00:27:36] Yes.

[00:27:37] Okay.

[00:27:38] Okay.

[00:27:38] Now, were your kids aware of that?

[00:27:42] And did that affect them?

[00:27:47] Um, not at all.

[00:27:48] So we, my husband and I, and especially I, because I was working a lot with these people, um, we did not share this information with our children.

[00:28:01] Okay.

[00:28:02] Good.

[00:28:03] So, and we, the ministry also takes care of not sharing information with children or with kids about like tragic things happening or whatever it is.

[00:28:14] So the kids are protected in this environment, especially, but the, the awareness is there.

[00:28:20] So we also talked with our children about what is happening, um, how people are influenced.

[00:28:28] They saw how people live.

[00:28:29] They saw the burn trailers and, um, things like, I mean, it's, it's seen everywhere.

[00:28:38] So you have at one point where your kids are asking you, how can people live here?

[00:28:43] How is that possible?

[00:28:45] And there were some questions our children had, but they learned that people, um, they have no options or no other opportunities.

[00:28:59] Yeah.

[00:28:59] You know, um, I, I know what you're talking about because Judy and I, when we were, um, at Karras, we took those two years to go, uh, around the entire Western, uh, all the states.

[00:29:14] And we saw a lot of desolation in South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Arizona.

[00:29:22] There's a lot of Indians and there's a lot of, uh, space between things, between towns.

[00:29:31] And, you know, when you look at this, it's like, there's, there's nothing available for work, you know?

[00:29:38] So I, you know, you know, as we were driving, Judy and I would say, well, what, what do these people do?

[00:29:43] I mean, no wonder they just sit in their trailers and just drink themselves to death.

[00:29:48] I mean, there's really nothing else to do.

[00:29:50] I mean, you can sit there and say, wow, it's really pretty out here.

[00:29:53] It is.

[00:29:54] And it's scenic and there's, you know, things to look at, but if you don't have any hope, and that's what I kind of wanted to talk to you about is I'm sure you went in and tried to say, but there is Jesus and Jesus can give you hope.

[00:30:08] So how did that work?

[00:30:11] I'm sure you ministered to them.

[00:30:12] I'm sure you did the best you could.

[00:30:14] Were you successful at all with this population?

[00:30:18] And so what's also very important and what, what I learned was that people wish to have different opportunities.

[00:30:30] They are waiting for opportunities to open.

[00:30:33] And, but it's, it's so hard to even talk about this from, from my perspective, who am I to, to talk about their lives or their life situations.

[00:30:47] And I felt like a lot of the tribal people I talked to, they had a very hard time to listen to what the white person is telling them because of their past and what happened in their lifetimes in the past 100 years.

[00:31:05] And I think that's how many horrible and cruel things happened with those communities.

[00:31:10] And it's, it's very easy for people coming in and telling them what's going wrong or how they should live their lives or, but this is not what, what people should focus on, you know.

[00:31:26] And this is something what I can tell everyone who wants to do ministry in areas like this, that you have to build up relationships.

[00:31:36] It's all about relationships.

[00:31:38] It's never about pointing out differences and talking about what's going into a negative way or what's wrong.

[00:31:47] And this is also what the ministry is doing there.

[00:31:50] They don't want to talk about statistics because we all know what's going on there, but we want to talk about how can we change the environment?

[00:31:59] How can Jesus and the presence of Holy Spirit change the environment there?

[00:32:04] And this is what the ministry is focusing on, is working and they have a great youth ministry and kids ministry is starting there.

[00:32:14] And they do afterschool programs with children and they share Jesus.

[00:32:19] They spend time with each other.

[00:32:21] They, they build up relationships which are full of love and acceptance.

[00:32:29] And so this is how I see also like how we, how every missionary should work.

[00:32:35] And this is, um, yeah, it's, it's get, everything becomes easier when we see people with the eyes of God and don't try to tell them what to do.

[00:32:49] Okay. I am going to stop you right there because our time is up and I'm going to give you about two minutes because, uh, we're actually on the clock.

[00:32:59] These zoom meetings can only last 30 minutes.

[00:33:01] So what I'd like for you to do is in a brief statement, tell the audience today why they need to receive Jesus and give us a quick prayer.

[00:33:11] We need to close.

[00:33:13] Yes. Um, so in all, in our lives and whatever this world has to offer, Jesus is the only way.

[00:33:25] And this is something every person has to come through a revelation for themselves, but we have to see that no other option, no other possibility is the right way by Jesus.

[00:33:42] And when we realize what he did for us and we accept his gift and his love for our lives, everything will be changed.

[00:33:53] And we see this over and over.

[00:33:55] And I encourage you to just ask the Lord, if you don't know the Lord, ask the Lord to show him to yourself, to show himself.

[00:34:07] And I promise he will.

[00:34:12] And I want to pray for that.

[00:34:14] Um, and for you as the, as the listener, thank you, Jesus, for, for your word and for what you have done for us.

[00:34:26] And that you are always opening your heart for everyone who wants to come to you and find you.

[00:34:34] And Lord, I, I ask you that everyone who is, who is listening and who wants to have answers, whatever is happening in their lives, who wants to know you and who wants to find out what is really the truth, which is you.

[00:34:56] That you show yourself to that person in a very individual way.

[00:35:04] In Jesus name.

[00:35:06] Amen.

[00:35:07] Amen.

[00:35:08] Sarah, it's been a joy having you back on.

[00:35:10] I'll see you again in five to six months.

[00:35:12] But now may the Lord bless you and keep you.

[00:35:17] The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

[00:35:21] The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

[00:35:26] Friends, please join me again tomorrow as we further explore wisdom today.

[00:35:34] All right.
