637. Roger Kelly Shares His Personal Testimony (#2 - 4/25/23) - September 10, 2024

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 10. I will then introduce you to my special guest for the day, Roger Kelly. Roger was originally on this podcast on April 25, 2023. I would highly encourage anyone listening to stop this podcast - and listen to that podcast - prior to listening to this new podcast. This testimony will stand on its own, but I pretty much begin where I left off on Roger's original testimony. We will go over Roger's 3rd year, and how he handled being in leadership of 2nd year students. He will share what the Lord has been dealing with him about and answer some questions about a few specific verses in the Bible.

[00:00:06] Welcome to Wisdom Today. My name is Bill Kelley and I'll be your host. In this podcast, we will be exploring the book of Proverbs.

[00:00:21] Open in prayer. Father God, I thank you for anyone listening to this podcast today. Lord, I pray that you open the ears of everyone.

[00:00:30] Let them understand that the Holy Spirit is the teacher and has many good things to offer. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

[00:00:38] This is Proverbs 10 beginning in verse 1. The Proverbs of Solomon

[00:00:44] A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.

[00:00:52] Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

[00:00:58] The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but he casts away the desire of the wicked.

[00:01:06] He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

[00:01:13] He who gathers in summer is a wise son. He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

[00:01:22] Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

[00:01:29] The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.

[00:01:34] The wise in heart will receive commands, but a prading fool will fall.

[00:01:41] He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known.

[00:01:48] He who winks with the eye causes trouble, but a prading fool will fall.

[00:01:55] The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

[00:02:02] Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.

[00:02:07] Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding,

[00:02:12] but a rod is for the back of him who is devoid of understanding.

[00:02:18] Wise people store up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

[00:02:25] The rich man's wealth is his strong city. The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

[00:02:32] The labor of the righteous leads to life, the wages of the wicked to sin.

[00:02:38] He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses correction goes astray.

[00:02:48] Whoever hides hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.

[00:02:54] In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.

[00:03:02] The tongue of the righteous is choice silver. The heart of the wicked is worth little.

[00:03:09] The lips of the righteous feed many, but fools die for lack of wisdom.

[00:03:16] The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.

[00:03:21] To do evil is like sport to a fool, that a man of understanding has wisdom.

[00:03:28] The fear of the wicked will come upon him, and the desire of the righteous will be granted.

[00:03:36] When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

[00:03:44] As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him.

[00:03:52] The fear of the Lord prolongs days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.

[00:04:00] The hope of the righteous will be gladness, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.

[00:04:07] The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, but destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.

[00:04:14] The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth.

[00:04:22] The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut out.

[00:04:29] The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse?

[00:04:38] Friends today I have a special treat for you.

[00:04:41] I have Roger Kelly and Roger Kelly is coming on for the second time.

[00:04:46] And what I invite everyone to listen to is podcast number 277.

[00:04:53] We have to go all the way back to April 25 of last year, 2023.

[00:05:00] And just to give you an idea of how far back that is today is actually July 8.

[00:05:06] And this is podcast number 591.

[00:05:11] So, Roger, I know we just went over proverb number 10.

[00:05:16] There are so many verses here that we could talk about, but which one would you like to share with the audience and give a little bit of advice about?

[00:05:25] Well, I just reminded everyone what you just read and read so well was that the book of Proverbs was written by King Solomon.

[00:05:35] Most of it is a tribute to King Solomon.

[00:05:37] And it really is a practical guide to, you know, how to live a godly and righteous life.

[00:05:43] And it is applicable in the Old Testament.

[00:05:46] It is what Jesus teaches us in the New Testament because that was the source of all of that anyway.

[00:05:51] So if I had one to look at, I would say, I would remind maybe maybe start at the beginning 10-1.

[00:06:00] The problem to Solomon at life time, make it the glad father for the food that is a heavy man mother.

[00:06:06] I think that's a good place to start because currently we're seeing a border that in our culture and the result is in chaos and misunderstanding and misapplication of God's will and the like here in this kingdom now.

[00:06:21] Okay, Roger. That's really good.

[00:06:24] What I'd like to do for the audience is let them kind of know where we are going from here on out.

[00:06:30] And I graduated from Carus Bible College back in May of last year.

[00:06:36] So I have been back in Florida about 15 months and I had scheduled and actually published a number of testimonies.

[00:06:46] And I actually at one point was about 15 months ahead and that time is running out.

[00:06:52] So Roger, you are one of the first one actually of what I've done is the Holy Spirit has been telling me that I am to select a team of people and I'm only selecting the best of the people that I had on my program.

[00:07:09] So I'm hoping to get around 18 people who are going to be coming on a regular basis and I'm only going to select people who I know are strong in the Lord, are following the Lord, are living a godly life, have a purpose in mind, and they know exactly who they are in Christ.

[00:07:30] So Roger, I'd like to welcome you back. You are one of the strongest persons I've had on. I thank you for that. And I just want to, what are your thoughts of coming on and joining me in this new venture?

[00:07:45] Well, to begin with I found value of purpose in your podcast. I mean there are people are suffering for lack of the word and you break it down with that sort of teacher cadence and with the idea that it needs to be understood.

[00:08:06] And so I thought it was a good thing, right? We all suffer for lack of knowledge and understanding and one of the reasons I went to Paris was that people are deeper understanding the word and its application in my life so that I could make it known to others.

[00:08:21] You do that. That's a valuable and important aspect. That is in fact going and making the rifles.

[00:08:27] And when we do this, when we listen to or engage in something like your teaching, it makes us hopefully more curious, more curious, more wanting a deeper and personal relationship with our Lord.

[00:08:44] And then also in my prior line of work we would call, you know, just being aware of what's going on, situate the awareness, right? So if you can see how that word can be applied in your life and then be aware of the favor of God when He lays it on you.

[00:09:02] That's amazing because otherwise we put a good luck or happenstance or circumstances. But you know this is always God who opened our life. And even the unbelievers and the unjust are loved by this God.

[00:09:17] And once they become aware that hope will cause them to turn to more righteous living, the kind of practical righteous living that is in the book of Proverbs. So that's what I think.

[00:09:28] Well that's so good. And you know, I do want to just quickly recap what we did in April 25th on the original podcast is we talked about the three most important decisions anyone can ever make.

[00:09:43] You talked about receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior as the most important decision you've ever made. Number two, we talked about getting married. And that's the second choice that we can make.

[00:09:55] And at that time, Roger, you mentioned that you had been married 47 years. So now it's been over a year. So my question to you is are you still at 48 or have you hit 49 yet?

[00:10:08] Actually, great question. Great memory. We just celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary and I realized that typically there are plenty of exceptions out there but as male we don't plan. I have to plan the 50th one.

[00:10:23] It's laid on my heart and I think we're excited about whatever that is that fortunately I've got some time to plan it. So yeah, we just celebrated 49th with certainly because of her and God.

[00:10:36] We've had a wonderful, wonderful life together. You can just stick in as you know, I think it's sweet.

[00:10:41] You know it's so good and you know I'm going to just review Proverb 1822 that he who finds a wife finds a treasure and obtains favor from the Lord. So you know Roger I will reiterate that God wants everyone to be married.

[00:10:57] You've made reference to that in the first podcast. But Roger, one of the requirements for third year and I kind of like for you to go to that because as a third year graduate from Keras Bible College you have acquired a lot of wisdom.

[00:11:13] You have wonderful things to say. The first thing I'd like to ask you is part of the requirement as a third year student is leading an I AG group. If you would quickly go over that process and how impactful that was for you as an individual.

[00:11:31] Yeah, I'll reference it. Thank you for that. I'll represent the, you know, one of my favorite verses that I always apply to my life and try to engage in Proverbs 20, 12, 17 as I am sharp and dire.

[00:11:45] So one man sharp as another of the comment from another depends on the version you're reading right so the opportunity to lead a group just like you with your background and I think it's fair to say that if you want to fully understand it.

[00:12:00] I think you need to teach it. If you teach you often more time, take away more than you have right so the opportunity to lead a group and a mission trip for most of them. It was the first time in the field.

[00:12:15] It gave them an opportunity to sort of understand or maybe discover their spiritual gifts and understand that we're all minute.

[00:12:28] We're all we were.

[00:12:30] We fall under authority and there's purpose in that value in that as we fall into God's authority.

[00:12:37] That was a great idea. I saw that you had the interview for it, but I have a background in leading foods.

[00:12:43] And in order to lead, you have to be able to follow the better. So I took that role very certainly one, you know, take these young men and women.

[00:12:56] And I was in the lady on that on that story was 89 years old and she did some incredible things while we were down there so I did say young I focus on the young for the leadership stuff but but I learned from those that had been in positions of leadership and

[00:13:16] opportunities with God too. So taking them down there watching them to discover who they were and how this applies to his block was an incredible, incredible opportunity. I do it a lot.

[00:13:31] I got to me. The guy we supported down there was a Reverend Craig rumbling or you and yelling why and he was talking to him and believes was amazing. Plus, at weight, it added value and understanding to my heart was to work with the people of the

[00:13:50] communities and it's a very diverse community. I even though it was a former British commonwealth, it's more American than in its culture then than British and the English is their national language, but it's a mix but God is very alive and people are very aware of God

[00:14:07] and believes so half the work was already done and there wasn't anybody that we didn't offer to pray for they didn't receive it. I even even approached some drug dealers in one of the neighborhoods and and after two of them ran off I called him back and we we prayed not for

[00:14:25] not for prosperity and telling drugs but from from coming to a relationship with the Lord. I don't know if we changed him. That's not my job that's how I did at least tell them what you do, but God would have in their life so that was an incredible opportunity for me I still hear back from some of the students

[00:14:44] second year students that went one of them called me latest last week and asked if I would mentor him and so we're doing mentor session once a week and we'll see how they go but I was I was really honored that he thought enough to read back to me to ask him why I'm going to get some structure with so we we went back to that different believes

[00:15:07] and he had asked for an opportunity to lead and we gave him the opportunity and he had some very positive experience he had some negative experiences that were then learning opportunities that led to more positive outcomes so I'm grateful for that I'm grateful to be able to watch people grow in the Lord.

[00:15:37] And and we saw again me we know we all have the difference but some are more gifted in certain disciplines they're like healing. I had to really we all can we all have a gift of willing to help you to better help up to the real

[00:15:50] God wants them well and healthy but some people are a little better at it than others and I am being that that's why I thought to real good you develop that are actually involved now in national programs are doing so to see them understand the spiritual gifts and see them apply them and see the results.

[00:16:10] And not all again not all are initially positive but the only way you fail it in that stuff is to give up and you lean heavily more heavily on the Holy Spirit and then step back and watch your situation awareness then becomes one of understanding how God moves through people to achieve his his will of our you know in our

[00:16:31] lives here to live life and live a little more abundantly so I'll be a forever grateful for that in the church I'm serving in now and I'm trying to encourage them to do it to look their mission down to beliefs because it's a it's a country that's hungry for God and is welcome God so that that's that's an amazing experience.

[00:16:51] So thank you for asking.

[00:16:52] You know, you know you you hit on a such a good point.

[00:16:56] And you know what I'd like to do is on your previous podcast you had mentioned that you had grown a lot in third year, but you failed to mention which track you were on.

[00:17:08] So if you would just spend a minute or two talking about which track you were on and how that has helped you develop to where you're at now.

[00:17:17] Oh, that's such a good question. Thank you. And we're all learning as we move forward.

[00:17:22] But um so I the reason that I was drawn to here at Bible College was first my wife from which all good things come to life.

[00:18:00] Quite the Lord.

[00:18:01] And so she took ministry and a third year life for global training global training with discipline that set you up either to be the director of one of the carrots Bible colleges.

[00:18:14] Sub schools some there's like kind of I remember like 70 to around the world. But the other piece of that is a global mission.

[00:18:23] So I became involved in a started mission program I direct started mission program 2005, the children's home and camera which is in West Africa, and I've been involved with that every time to when I was on the board we're very active I traveled there a number of times.

[00:18:40] So I needed to understand a little better how missions, how missions are organized and supported and those kinds of things for the legacy piece of this, this man to children somewhere involved in now.

[00:18:54] So that gave me that that opportunity so I am qualified if I have to go do a year internship in Phoenix, Arizona to actually be considered for directorship but that's not my call.

[00:19:08] I'm always pretty not talked about that quite a bit. And he's a firm that to me, my call is it is mission support mission startup so that's helped me and then while it was very good about that exposure I also received a calling to be involved in a chaplaincy program for

[00:19:25] first responders, so that I have three years in law enforcement and I've used chaplaincy program state local federal government and. And so now I'm involved in that in where I'm currently living.

[00:19:39] So those things all came to me as a result of putting under the word and the tutelage of the Pierce public college staff, and its leadership, and I'll be forever grateful because one of the things that a lot of people know what is God's will.

[00:19:56] So, they tell this and then what is my purpose well in the B.

[00:20:00] Right.

[00:20:01] You're really best way to hear it.

[00:20:03] There's words and then the word, but the second way to do it have a conversation with him and understand that that he will close doors because he knows the desire your heart and you will open the words because he knows the desire your heart.

[00:20:18] Sometimes he knows me when we do and he knows you more than anybody wants you to you want you to tell him about it and he wants to talk about it you want you to be in relationship with them so those things were definitely driven on.

[00:20:30] I don't third year.

[00:20:33] I am a lot of the class that I took off to across the class with my wife, ministry and a lot of that.

[00:20:41] Again, is, you know, we have to have the same foundation.

[00:20:46] So it was actually enjoyable very enjoyable very.

[00:20:51] It gave me time to focus on on the way forward. And, and I can do that with with complete peace I think you know often people ask me, what about this or what about that I can pray about it or you talk about it do you have a P, because if you have a piece

[00:21:37] you know in my mind in my experience, my knowledge training and

[00:21:39] legacy piece of moving the children's on forward in Africa so I'm very grateful.

[00:21:46] Roger that is so good. You know what I'd like to do for just the next eight or 10 minutes on your previous time you were on you talked about the importance of the word of God.

[00:21:57] And I know there are some people listening today Roger that aren't all that familiar with the word of God so what I was thinking about doing is actually taking several authors of the Bible and a quote or a verse that they have had.

[00:22:14] And if you would elaborate a little bit on how impactful those verses are to your life.

[00:22:22] And what I'd like to do is begin with my favorite verse is Paul's letter to the Romans.

[00:22:28] And in chapter eight verse six, he said to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

[00:22:38] Roger please explain to the audience how that verse impacts your life.

[00:22:45] I think you can, you can break it down right if our focus is always on self.

[00:22:51] Then it's destined to fail and you'll never truly find it easier to be happy you know God tells us that we're,

[00:23:00] we're here to serve.

[00:23:02] We just came to not to be served but to serve so I think to me it just reminds me that we're here for a purpose and and the purposes to to

[00:23:15] to demonstrate the love of God, the God is the other God who others and the best way to do that oftentimes you would serve and deserve with no expectations it doesn't mean that you should

[00:23:29] have been paid for your laborers those kinds of things.

[00:23:31] So it really comes down to me it's not what you do it's why you do it, you do it, the God loved you and so you should love other than no matter what the circumstances are outcome it's going to be

[00:23:46] it's going to be work for good and the Bible tells us that as well so that's kind of my focus there when I hear that verse that's the impact on me and they're reminding me

[00:23:56] that's that's a theme that runs through the Bible for me and and one I've always seen a form right so whether it to you know seeing something happen here and here's the other I think the big thing

[00:24:08] expect no credit expect no credit just serve serve in his name and and and that takes the focus away from self and that takes away so many things that he even spoken obviously the

[00:24:21] solid piece of it and I wish to know about right.

[00:24:25] Yeah, don't serve the law by building other, I think is is the key defining piece and and be okay if you don't get the credit for because you know we all like that.

[00:24:38] You know we like to be you like to be knowledge that kind of stuff but that should not be your higher priority.

[00:24:43] Your highest priority doing the right thing for the right reason that's defined in the word that's defined in Proverbs. So, you know, right to practical living and understand that that that you ever got to love you know that what so then that

[00:24:56] should make you be unconditionally on your application to love the others and services in the way I believe I would do that mostly is is the opportunities to serve with with no expectation because the service itself is

[00:25:09] not a reward because you can just feel a piece about that and that's what God is promise me, you know, having his we don't have to understand it. We just have to receive it just like the grace of

[00:25:25] the Lord.

[00:25:28] So, all of those there's a repetitive thing for me in a Bible no matter where you're at all test and be tested right. God created you so that you can show the love of God who others for me that trend most often with service and then of course the other big one in

[00:25:43] there is forgiveness.

[00:25:45] For goodness and we're all going to take offense from time to time. The key is don't hold it.

[00:25:52] And that's that's that would be a wonderful one of which that I'm aware of almost the room, because you can be a member easily if you're focused on.

[00:26:03] Well, you know, you bring up such a good point and I just want to reiterate what you said in proverb. I don't know which one it is but one of the verses is let other people praise you and not your own lips.

[00:26:16] And you know, you made reference to that. But what I'd like to do is go to Peter and many people, you know, frown a little bit upon Peter because he denied Jesus three times, but he got it.

[00:26:28] And you know, when when it was almost time for Jesus to go to the Ascension and he's at the Sea of Galilee and he talks to Peter after he has been crucified and resurrected.

[00:26:43] And he asked Peter three times, do you love me?

[00:26:47] And he's giving Peter the opportunity to basically reestablish the relationship he had with God, but he had missed it by denying him.

[00:26:57] So if you would in the fifth chapter of 1 Peter, it says, clothe yourself with humility. Roger, please explain that verse to the audience.

[00:27:10] Well, first, I think it's kind of funny because I think Peter is the disciple I most identify with right. And we hurt their hearts will find one of those.

[00:27:18] And Jesus, Jesus loved the flawed light and so I, you know, have found myself making stupid decisions but still being loved and I think Jesus that computer again do you love me like you say is more for Peter benefit.

[00:27:34] It's not because Jesus doesn't know or need to be told that he's loved because he's trying to put this, this, this deeper understanding into Peter so he understands where and what God is.

[00:27:46] And I think I probably have no right to carry forward. I think I would care to sort of cut off an either.

[00:27:51] Well, that's a lot and we see that that, you know, Christianity is going to use like so many other little over the millennia, but by a killing and maiming and destroying and enforcing open and that is not a way.

[00:28:07] What am I afraid of all the time that I think about it in my mind and it's just it's I mean you really think about it.

[00:28:14] This number this happened is all pretty good. Lord, keep me humble and be focused so that there is not it's not about me it's about you.

[00:28:24] And I know you love me and I know you know I love you but it's a relationship and it requires my wife often you to determine how is the AR action required.

[00:28:37] He knows that but I should tell him.

[00:28:39] So, I think we do not stay humble then not to focus on stuff. And again as you read before they'll build don't they'll be no real peace there.

[00:28:49] And with that again, I mean, I did this great thing. I come up and I get credit for it. It's okay. It's okay. God knows you know and you hopefully you've learned from the experience and you'll you'll fight again.

[00:29:05] So that's that's my thoughts there.

[00:29:07] Okay, we are almost out of time. Before we begin to close I want to ask one more person and James of course was the half brother of Jesus.

[00:29:19] He lived with Jesus growing up. He lived in the same household with him and James is often referred to as the book of Proverbs in the New Testament.

[00:29:29] It's the equivalent of the book of Proverbs. But I'd like to go to chapter one of James chapter verse 22 where it says that we are to be doers of the word and not hears only.

[00:29:42] Roger what does that mean to you and explain that to the audience?

[00:29:47] Well, the Old Testament and particularly New Testament is repeat with, you know, do not be a hypocrite.

[00:29:54] Do not be a hypocrite and again it goes a little back to what I said before it's not what you do is why you do it. Are you doing it in the service of the Lord?

[00:30:02] Well, you do it as though you were doing it under him to the very best of your ability, right? So it's one thing to, you know, say hey, you should do this and this is where we get in trouble with a lot of dominates, right?

[00:30:15] We're going even back to the Old Testament, right? We were in commandment and then the mistake law put another foot part in 30 or foot part in 48 on there. There's different numbers, but we added our peace to it.

[00:30:28] We added our world, we understood it and so again it all comes up a little bit cooler. Hopefully you realize that. That's the beauty of the New Testament. I think we began to record it with our Lord.

[00:30:42] Do it and do it to your best. Do it without again, you know, any expectation. Do it with the understanding that, you know, are you over doing it? Sometimes it's, and this is where prayer and relationship to the other freak comes in.

[00:31:00] It's okay to say no. It's okay that they know because again God needs to focus on other things or he's going to bring another opportunity up to you.

[00:31:10] But oftentimes many, many people are people who do this, right? If I don't do this, they're going to kill him.

[00:31:18] That's not it's not what other people think it's what is what you and the Lord have discussed and understand. And that's why it's important to his will in the word and through being in relationship with him.

[00:31:30] And yet, you know, it's not something that we say that we do that even in an earthly concept, right? But you should do unto the Lord so that you do your best.

[00:31:41] It's not enough to say, well, I love my God and he loves me. You should go out and demonstrate to others who serve it through opportunity to your efforts whether food or untoe.

[00:31:55] The love of God, let them see God's love and new by your actions, by your D and by your not cooking a fan by your not personal adoration.

[00:32:07] Wow, you know, not not because open a, you know, we'll give you leadership position at work or in search or things like that because God is the author of emotion.

[00:32:18] And we know that.

[00:32:21] And if we see that you can talk to them about them, then they're going to trust you and the Lord can take out the notion of professional spirit with them.

[00:32:30] Who's watching? Who's watching it through that? What do you do? And why do you do it?

[00:32:35] And if you say one more, you know, you don't need me to give all the way to God.

[00:32:45] Man, it's just a moving, moving, moving revelation. The peace of the world cannot be put into the world.

[00:32:54] That's a good thing.

[00:32:55] Okay, I'm just going to make one reference.

[00:32:58] Proverbs 29 25 says the fear of man brings a snare and you made reference to that.

[00:33:07] And Roger, we are not to be concerned with what man thinks about us but only God.

[00:33:13] So what I'd like to do is give you a couple moments.

[00:33:15] I'd like for you to share your thoughts and get them across to the audience and then close us in prayer.

[00:33:25] But I want you to be thinking about two particular verses.

[00:33:28] Paul's verse, which goes, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

[00:33:36] Philippians 4 13 and also 1 John 4 17, which says as he is, so are we in this world. Take it away.

[00:33:48] That's a good other.

[00:33:51] Well, I think, you know, unfortunately, a lot of people will come to Christ through trauma, through hard care, through lack.

[00:34:02] And, you know, praise to those that discover that God wants you happy.

[00:34:09] You want you fulfilled. You want you to have any and everything. All the need requires your heart.

[00:34:20] So we can't do that. We can't do that our own. And that includes a real blessing there.

[00:34:27] You know, grief and those things, the loss of a loving, the loss of an opportunity, those kinds of things.

[00:34:32] That's usually when we realize that we can't do it our own. We must turn to God.

[00:34:37] And so the Bible is there to give us an understanding of that and how to get that done.

[00:34:42] So it's not ideal, but it's often the way it happens when people come to the end of their ability.

[00:34:48] They seek, you know, God's help. But we didn't have to wait to that.

[00:34:54] The stronger you are in the word, the greater you are in your relationship with the Lord,

[00:34:58] the less this stuff is going to crumble in on you because, you know, again, you have a helper.

[00:35:03] If you've accepted that through the Lord's Spirit, you know, if you've taken your, you've accepted or been saved by Christ.

[00:35:10] And you know that you don't do this. You're never alone. You're never alone.

[00:35:15] They're always a interpreter and a helper. And somebody will put you through it even if you don't fully understand it.

[00:35:21] And why anyone would not to try to do that all along is beyond my understanding because we're clearly given and should be freely received.

[00:35:30] And so there, there is the value of this.

[00:35:35] We've been understanding that you can't do it alone. You can't do it alone.

[00:35:39] You need a Savior. You need wisdom and comfort of the Holy Spirit to get you through these things and understanding that again,

[00:35:50] I would say that you may not even be able to see the good that comes out of it because it is blessing maybe somebody else that you're not aware of.

[00:35:57] And but that's what you do. There can be a peace. There can be a peace through that.

[00:36:03] So I think both of those verses sort of speak to that and look for the reminder because here's another thought.

[00:36:11] So many people believe that whatever their experience in particular with a negative is unique to them.

[00:36:16] Well, there's really nothing new in the world.

[00:36:18] It is personal because it is personal.

[00:36:21] Well, you have a personal Savior that will get you through it and then you can grow and take that experience.

[00:36:27] One of the greatest things about learning is that once you learn in a client,

[00:36:33] the greatest satisfaction I get is like he was going back and teaching at the other so that they get it sooner or they understand it deeper

[00:36:41] or they don't have to go through those negative experiences that brought you to that point.

[00:36:52] So that's my thoughts there.

[00:36:55] All right, let's go ahead and close in prayer then.

[00:36:58] Thank you, sir.

[00:37:40] I think that in the end, then you have taken all our same and all our families, past President Pugler and laid them at the feet of Jesus.

[00:37:48] We don't have to live that condemned or we don't have to the feeling that we're not enough because Lord,

[00:37:55] more than enough we are conquerors Lord and we understand that that you need us to be disciple to other.

[00:38:02] And once we share the word with them, we know that really hopefully they'll speak of greater relationship with you.

[00:38:09] So Father God, we thank you.

[00:38:11] We thank you Lord for everything you do for us and for you for others who thank you for opportunities to teach and to learn and to apply

[00:38:22] and to grow even greater in the knowledge of your love for us Lord.

[00:38:27] I pray that those out there that listen to this, but they don't have a personal relationship with the Lord.

[00:38:33] They ask the Lord to come into their hearts and to see them as their living Savior.

[00:38:37] And then beyond that go deeper in your word.

[00:38:39] The Bible did this for a little bit and provided the direction.

[00:38:43] It is a deeper understanding and see the baptism of the earth and lean on the comfort of the Lord.

[00:38:47] And we understand that this word you've given us is really for kingdom living here Lord.

[00:38:52] We know that we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and pray that I like the eternal.

[00:38:57] You know also that I love their character Lord.

[00:38:59] So those things that are happening here are out this world, not carnal.

[00:39:03] So we pray again Lord if you understand me so that we can fight in this good fight here in this kingdom.

[00:39:10] And then as we welcome our transition into that.

[00:39:13] We are amazed by you Lord.

[00:39:15] Thank you for this man of God.

[00:39:18] This is Kelly Bo Kelly who Lord takes the time to share and again decipher which film that there's literally we're at right now.

[00:39:25] This can reach tens of thousands and more Lord as opposed to just a one on one conversation.

[00:39:31] We also think without the three to have those one on one conversations with others.

[00:39:35] We just love you and pray to the Lord.

[00:39:37] We thank you for all those that listen and may they listen and share the word out beyond them.

[00:39:43] Again, I thank you in Jesus precious name. Amen.

[00:39:46] Amen. Well, Roger, thanks for coming on.

[00:39:49] I'm going to go ahead and close with a blessing now.

[00:39:52] May the Lord bless you and keep you.

[00:39:55] The Lord make it say shine upon you and be gracious to you.

[00:39:59] The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

[00:40:04] So Roger will see you back in about four months.

[00:40:06] You keep going keep plugging along and look forward to hearing what you have to do next in this name.

[00:40:12] You know, the same year away. You're an amazing man.

[00:40:15] And I know you guys are calling now.

[00:40:17] Thank you, sir.

[00:40:19] Amen.
